Sebum production and acne-prone skin

Sebum production is regulated by hormonal stimuli, but there are also genetic factors that can determine its excessive formation. When sebum becomes too thick and waxy, it hinders skin perspiration and blocks hair follicles, creating an environment favorable to the development of microorganisms. This leads to the formation of acne which, due to inflammation, can continue to evolve and create both esthetic and psychological discomfort.

The treatment

The course for the treatment of active acne involves 8 sessions to be carried out over 7-8 weeks, during which different actions alternate: deflaming, oxygenating, purifying and renewing.

In fact, the objective of the course is to globally treat acne in its complexity, starting from sebum regulation and moving on to desensitization and rebalancing.

If a surplus of Ozone is necessary for its purifying and energizing properties, some treatments include a variant with Superozone 1200.

At-home treatment

Self-care starts with a gentle cleansing with Hydramilk, perfected by the hydrating contribution of Aqualotion, to be topped off at night with Ozone and in the morning with a serum dedicated to skin sensitivity. The emulsions are very high performing, and synergize the power of Ozone.

Pimples are treated directly with Septigel, while the normalizing mask and acid cleanser complete the self-care process once or twice a week.
