Azelaic Acid
Natural substance produced by a yeast (Malassezia furfur) normally found in the skin flora and in wheat, rye or barley. It boasts some useful, effective characteristics in dermatology, which make it a precious ingredient for treatments dedicated to oily and impure skin. It has an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action, and has demonstrated excellent antioxidant properties.
